When adding a disk to a virtual server the following message appears:

"Disk has not been added: Max Disks count limit have reached."


Answer

OnApp has the following system limits per virtual server:

  • 15 for Xen VSs*
  • 20 for KVM virtio VSs
  • 4 for KVM non-virtio VSs
  • 3 for KVM FreeBSD-based VSs
  • 124 for VMware VSs

These limits cannot be changed or bypassed. If more disks are needed, another virtual server should be created.
